Krypton is a beta-class ISO. He emerged from the Sea of Simulation in 1988, and chose the name 'Krypton'. Appropriately, he found that he had a talent for encryption/decryption, and worked in that area. That was where he met Lisrel.

Lisrel was a Basic, part of the Statistics group, and the two found that they suited each other very well. The pair moved in together in Lisrel's apartment in Tron City, although they found intolerance on both sides – despite some notable exceptions, ISO/Basic pairs weren't generally accepted. Krypton was still very young in program terms when the Sea was poisoned, and Lisrel helped him through the grief.

Unfortunately, Lisrel started listening to Clu's insidious propaganda, while Krypton was growing more and more sure that the best place for them both would be Bostrum Colony. On the day that Krypton tried to broach the idea, Lisrel told Krypton that he was going to join the Black Guard. Lisrel thought that by doing that, he'd be better able to protect people. Krypton didn't understand why his lover was joining up with Clu, Lisrel didn't understand why Krypton was being so isolationist, and the whole thing devolved into a furious row. Heartbroken, Krypton headed straight for Bostrum, the place he'd heard called 'the last completely free society on the Grid'.

It was only a few decicycles later when Abraxas came to the Bostrum Colony. Krypton ran, and was rescued by Anon. Krypton immediately went into hiding, successfully avoiding the virus only to be derezzed when the colony was destroyed by Clu's forces.

Krypton is a detail-oriented, dedicated program. Although he's not skilled in combat and has never been trained in it, he has Operator-class privileges in lightcycle and lightjet piloting. He loves flying, and he's happiest when in the air. He used to be friendly, albeit not particularly sociable, but his break-up with Lisrel has burned him emotionally. He'll be most forthcoming with fellow ISOs, but is likely to be short and a bit snappish with Basics.

This journal has been created for the purpose of playing the Tron Legacy OC character Krypton. I don't own Tron or any rights associated with the franchise (Disney owns all). Dominic Colenso owns himself, but Krypton is mine. Both mun and muse are over 18.
